Modules

Residential (RMMR)

The Residential module manages your aged-care medication reviews from start to finish. A review moves along a pipeline โ€“ from referral, to in progress, to complete and claimed โ€“ so you always know where every resident is up to.

Along the way, the clinical registers (psychotropic and polypharmacy) keep track of residents who need ongoing monitoring, and the reporting tools and PPA claiming close out the work. Everything connects back to the resident's record.

The flow at a glance

How Residential works

Each resident review is a case that sits in a stage on the pipeline. You open a case to do the work, move it forward as you go, add residents to the registers where needed, then report and claim.

The pipeline

See every review at a glance

The pipeline is a board of columns, one for each stage: due, referral sent, referral received, in progress, complete and claimed. Each resident is a card you can drag to the next stage as you progress.

Doing the work

The case drawer

1

Open a resident to work on their review

Click a card to slide open the case drawer. Inside are tabs for the resident overview, their consults and an activity log so you can see the full history of the review in one place.

Ongoing monitoring

Psychotropic register

1

Track residents on psychotropic medicines

Add residents on psychotropic medicines to the register. Markoste records when they were last reviewed and when the next review is due, so nobody is missed.

Ongoing monitoring

Polypharmacy register

1

Track residents on many medicines

The polypharmacy register works the same way for residents taking a large number of medicines, helping you keep an eye on medication burden over time.

Staying on top

Reviewing registers

1

Work through what is due

Each register entry shows the last review date and the next due date. Work through the residents that are due, record the outcome, and the next due date updates automatically.

Tip

Link a PharmCal task to a register review so the reminder sits in your calendar too.

Closing out

Reporting

1

Produce the review report

When a review is finished, generate a report that summarises your findings and recommendations, ready to share with the facility and the resident's prescriber.

PPA claiming

1

Mark the review as claimed

Once you have submitted your claim through the PPA, move the case to the claimed stage. This keeps your pipeline accurate and your records ready for any audit.
